Deliver Us From Evil
Deliver Us From Evil follows Father O’Grady through the years as a priest in Northern California, where he committed his atrocious crimes. After being convicted of his charges and serving seven years in a California State Penitentiary, Father O’Grady was deported back to his native land of Ireland.
This is where Amy Berg, an American film maker interviewed him in 2005. The documentary uses trial documents, videotaped depositions, and interviews with theologians, psychologists, activists and lawyers.
All of whom suggest that church officials were aware of the atrocities O’Grady committed, but that they actively tried to conceal them as well.
